I hold a Bachelors in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Aquatics. I have been coaching on and off for 12 years including the Stingray team, Lake Bracken club team and Masters.
Fun fact about me: when I was in 9th grade (Jr. High for my time) I was asked to join the High school swim team but I decided to wait until high school to join. When I was finally in high school the district disbanded the girls swim team…I protested and was told if I wanted a girls team I would have to join the boys team that year and if I did well they would consider reinstating a girls team. I ended up making it to State, but was not allowed to swim in the meet because I was a GIRL! We ended up getting a girl team the next year and to this date there is still a girls team at my high school.
Stingrays Swim Team is part of the Twin City Swim Conference, and the swim meets are scheduled with other teams that are members of the same conference. There may be additional swim meets scheduled at the coach’s discretion. Learn more about Stingray Swim Team here.
